My Mission
My goal as a Counselor is to empower and inspire my clients to live a life that is authentic and fulfilling. I believe that everyone has the potential to create positive change in their lives, and I am here to support you on your journey towards personal growth and transformation. My degree is a MS in Counseling Psychology from Texas A&M University. I love how large and diverse Texas is and I am doing all telehealth sessions now to make sure Texans receive help in all corners of the state.
My Approach
My approach as a therapist is rooted in a person centered approach, mindfulness, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. I work collaboratively with my clients to help them identify their strengths, overcome limiting beliefs, and develop practical strategies for achieving their goals. I believe that therapy is a process of self-discovery, and I am committed to providing a supportive and non-judgmental space for my clients to explore their inner world and outer environment.
My Services
I offer one-on-one counseling sessions. My areas of expertise include career planning, life transitions, stress management, adoption, affective disorders, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, depression, domestic violence, grief, adjustment and wellness with chronic medical issues, and personal development. I am currently in-network with these insurance companies: Aetna, BCBS of Massachusetts, Cigna, Oscar Health, Oxford, and United Healthcare. A journey starts with just a single step. This is a road near the Guadalupe River.
Sometimes our journeys take us over hills and through valleys. This is a hill of bluebonnets in north Texas near Farmersville.
Sometimes we need to quiet ourselves during the hussle and bussle of life with sounds like the calming, rhythmic waves at a beach. This is the National Seashore on Padre Island.
Enjoying the quiet, affirming what we like about ourselves, and remembering with gratitude people who have lifted us up, even just a little, to make the journey lighter. Port Aransas.
Some people think therapy is mostly like what they see on TV and movies, but I prefer to sometimes talk about problems and emotions and add some action and problem solving. Let's get to work.
